Cain’s mentor is Alan Greenspan.

Cain is part and parcel of the system that got us into the fix we are in.

Cain is old.

Cain helped get us into the current nightmare.

Cain will gladly spread the wealth around...

If you support someone else, fine. Make your case.

But to spew delusions is not helping your cause.

Okay, but there is nothing but fact in what I’m saying, no “delusions” so I’ll take the time to “make my case” as you ask. because I know you are a good conservative and not a hothead like an idiot on this thread I wouldn’t waste my time with.

“Cain’s mentor is Alan Greenspan.”

In the New Hampshire debate, Cain spoke approvingly of Greenspan and Greenspan’s policies, which are and were his own policies. He made absolutely no recognition of the role the Fed, and Cain’s own role, had in getting this country into the position of a debtor nation. If Greenspan is not a mentor to Cain, at the very least Cain is in complete denial about what he has contributed to getting us in this mess. And he wants the top job to try to get us out of the mess he helped put us in? I don’t think so!

Cain is part and parcel of the system that got us into the fix we are in.

See above. Cain is a product of, supporter of, and beneficiary of the CORRUPTED system of “capitalism” that bears little resemblance to a true free-market system - the managerial society, if you will, that has brought this country to the brink.

“Cain is old.”

What’s to argue about that? If Cain becomes president, he would be the second-oldest president ever to be inaugurated. That is a fact. The problem with that is he is bound by his own life experience and that generational experience and outlook is wahat has bought us to this disaster.

“Cain helped get us into the current nightmare.”

Again, see above. If you can’t see that this country is in major trouble and evolving, make that evolved, into a leviathan-controlled mess, and that the Roosevelt generation and their kids moved society here over the last 50 years while feathering their own nests...

“Cain will gladly spread the wealth around...”

That’s the point. Anybody with the big federal government mentality, with the centralized, top-down mentality, and that includes Cain, will never devolve any meaningful amount of power and control away from the centralized authority they gain control of. And taking money and spreading it around is what the feds do. And that is what Cain will do. He is not the guy who is willing or able to do anything else other than what he has done as a part of the times and system he grew into.

None of all that is to disparage Cain. I like the guy. He might just be the best overall of the announced candidates.
I just do not think he could make the real changes this country needs, and I know 9-9-9 is totally insufficient to inspire the producing sector.
