Yeah, I just heard that. Still, we have no national interest in Uganda. Our troops should not be sent there.

Congress passed a law stipulating our policy and expressing their belief that we do have an interest in removing the LRA.

Lord's Resistance Army Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act of 2009, Public Law 111-172, enacted May 24, 2010

I'm not saying I agree with it, just that it appears legal and consistent with Congress' intentions.
