If straight men and women routinely engaged in hetero anal sex with multiple partners, dozens to hundreds per year, it is likely AIDS would have spread just as fast in the hetero population.
Most of the other activities gay men and women engage in are much less likely to spread the virus.
In fact, the CDC says there has still not been a confirmed case of female to female spread of the virus.

Baloney. Men are properly banned from donating blood if they have engaged, even once, in "sex" with another man.
Given the exponentially unlikely event that homosexual behavior only happened once, that is not promiscuous. And yet, it bans the donation of blood - ever.
Experts even recommend that homosexual couples in long-term, "monogamous" relationships STILL wear "protection" to prevent possible infection.
Correct. Which is also why HIV is such a big problem in the heterosexual population in Africa. There is rampant promiscuity and anal sex is used as a form of birth control there.
