I was behind locked doors and Jack is deaf, so he didn’t bark, but with our bright outdoor lights, I saw everything going on. Those idiots didn’t dare try to break in. They just could leave without “anything”, so they took the 2 rocking chairs. Idiots. Had they just left empty handed, they could have continued with their burglary spree. I wouldn’t have called 911.

I’m glad we now have the Castle Doctrine here. We can supposedly now defend ourselves and our property. Not sure if it has been used or defended in court yet but, I feel better just having the option. My neighborhood is pretty conservative and peaceful.
