I can understand it after listening to the Bloomberg Q&A with the Candidates on Tuesday night. Cain more than held his own; gave as good as he got; and managed to leave Romney unable to answer a question about his own plan.
Romney couldn’t even give an outline of his plan. All he could do is say: “Simple ain’t necessarily so hot.” And Cain destroyed that argument with “If we keep pivoting off this tax system, any answer based on the old system is doomed to failure.” I agree with that.
I think Cain could be a formidable opponent against Obama. The race question surely would be back-burnered is a real sense. Not to say that left-wing, race-baiting loons wouldn’t push it, but let’s look at the 2 men for a moment.
When you think “trueblackman” do you think “Harvard Barry” or do you think “Morehouse Herman”?
Just wait until Chris Wallace exposes the honky rock at Cain’s hunting camp.
