My, my Huck you have been very busy. If anyone wants to read an almost unending stream of nastiness... click on Huck’s name and go look at what he has been posting. It wouldn’t bother me as much if you weren’t being terribly misleading in most of your posts.

For instance you said that the 999 plan would take 30% of people’s income. You must have a pretty low opinion of your fellow freepers if you are trying to pass that one off. There is a 9% tax on people’s income and a 9% tax on sales of NEW ITEMS. If you buy a used car or a used house you don’t pay the sales tax. It also eliminates the 15.3% “Payroll tax”. Even if someone was able to spend every penny they made on taxable items and they paid the 9% income tax, that still would only come to 18% not 30%. You are a liar.

I have my own reservations about the plan, but it is still wrong to try to out and out lie about it. I don’t think that it has much of a chance of passing through congress for one thing. The president can propose ideas such as this, but the congress has to write the legislation and pass the legislation. I just can’t see congress eliminating the mortgage deduction with the housing market being what it is.

You are free to make valid criticism, and share your opinion, but you are just plain nasty and you lie. I challenge anyone to read through all of your posts and see if they don’t come to the same conclusion. I feel sorry for you.

Defenders of 9-9-9 point out that it is, by Cain’s own plan, a stepping stone to the Fair Tax, which is a 30% consumption tax. In fact, his adherants seem to think he’s not touting that fact enough! So, according to their thinking, I’m helping his cause.

I hear this a lot and it cracks me up. It's like the people who say they don't like 9-9-9 but they like Cain. Why? It's his signature plan. He's done everything he can to totally identify himself with it. If his signature economic plan is a turkey (it is, and a political loser at that), what's to like? His voice?
