To give a little historical context.... Way back... when Texas wasn't a state, or even a republic,... Folks from Tennesee 'volunteered' and came down here and helped out at a little mission near a river.

We call it the Alamo.

And then there was a lot of fuss.

But Texas never forgot Tennesee. We have a soft spot in our heads.

Yes...one set of my Texas ancestors came here from Tennessee. They didn’t fight in the Alamo....but we are proud Texans!
