The 2/3 provision would require nothing more than 50% plus one to override in Congress. And you had better believe that eventually there will be RATS in Congress who will vote to override it and raise Herman Cain’s national sales tax in a heart beat. Cain knows this, too. You cannot trust that man as far as you can throw him.

Math can be fun, to convert a fraction to percent simply divide the top number by the bottom number and then multiply the result by 100. Feel free to use a calculator if needed.

A correct answer for 2/3 would be 66.6% or rounded up to 67%. Therefore in the US Senate a tax increase would require 67 votes and in the House of Representatives it would require 291 votes.

Aint Math FUN!

Not criticizing you but really which politician do you really trust? Do you trust Mitt or Perry or Bachmann? Why would you trust any of them. I like some of Santorum’s ideas, Cain is at least not so PC he is afraid to put forth ideas, Romney is McCain 2012 and Perry is the like a broken jack-in-the box. Lots of anti anticipation but no thrill when the lid popped open. These candidates are all flawed, I do not trust any of I just want one further to the right than Obama.
