On Morning Joe this morning, Charlie Rose, who is moderating tonight's GOP Bloomberg/WaPo debate confirmed he intends to ask the candidates about the Occupy Wall St. protests.
"Absolutely! It seems to be a growing phenomenon, and what does it say about the growing despair in the country. And how do they characterize it?"
So far the GOP has not had anything good to say about the protesters. At all.
This morning, Obama advisor David Plouffe essentially told GMA that Obama supports the protestors putting him on the side of a growing movement that could prove troubling to both the GOP and the Dems in the coming election.

They love those Marxist protesters over at The Morning Joe.
These are your typical snot-nosed, union-backed, pro-Communisitic/pro-Marxist/pro wealth distribution/pro climate change hysteria, pro class envy, anti-American freedom pukes that we've always had in my lifetime.
If anyone knows where I can get a live feed online of this debate, I’d appreciate the info.
I’d like to know which network is having the debate. As usual the Philly Inquirer doesn’t have it in its TV listing. Not surprising since they didn’t list the others either. You can bet if the Democrats were debating that it would be on the front page.
I’m happy to say I haven’t a clue who Charlie Rose is or where he hangs out!!
Why can’t we get journalists who can ask substantive questions?
Here is the answer to the question:
OWS is nothing more than White House Street Theatre.
Next question please.
I think any reasonable candidate must oppose the occupy Wall Street demonstrations. Amid the cacophony of slogans energizing these people equality of outcome seems to resonate. However, our governing documents contemplate equality of opportunity, in which each person determines the place of materialism. Whatever material advantages some people may gain were always intended to be subject to the rule of law.
The pursuit of happiness means primarily spiritual prosperity within the hazards and uncertainties of personal freedoms. It does not mean the government will ensure protection of home values, college funds, retirement accounts, savings, executive severance packages, affordable healthcare, homeownership, lifetime employment, corporate wealth, political careers, and union benefits. There is no happiness within illusions of material security provided by politicians and their allies, because these initiatives always require accepting subservience to a new set of laws.
These new laws are administrative laws, and with their associated regulations, constitute the soft underbelly of our Constitution. Under administrative law like Roman civil law a person is subject to its penalties and restrictions until they discover some way to legally extricate themselves; a profoundly difficult process. Under English common law, which has its source in natural rights, and which serves as the basis for our Constitution, a person is innocent and not subject to the penalties of the law until proved guilty.
Equality of outcome is the rallying cry for concepts of government such as Communism, Bolivarism, Fascism, Socialism, and National Socialism. These governing structures rely upon ever more restrictive network of administrative laws to fortify a perpetual ruling elite.
This astroturf carries the Obama brand.
I don’t think I am going to watch. I don’t want to see them being peppered with stupid questions like “so are you in favor of $5 ATM fees and the ability of banks to raise your interest to 30% on a two-year old purchase?”
Why will anything Occupy Wall Street does have any effect on the debate? They are not republicans and do not vote in the primary.
When they had no other arguments the Palinistas would claim we should beg her to run to 'make the liberals heads explode'. Well, the way Cain talks like that and the fact that he is black really does make them explode.
I love his line about how his father didnt teach him to ask the government to take from others to give to him. one of his best lines.
Well that is an excellent, reasoned and thoughtful post.
However, it is several magnitudes of intellectual understanding above the level of the Wall Street hippies, the generational parasites, and the Union slobs who put the RaceMarxist in power, for the very purpose of achieving equality of outcome, by, of course, stealing from others.
Thank you. It is interesting to note that if these demonstrators were to succeed, most would discover, as George Orwell wrote, they were not nearly as equal as other animals in terms of the equality of outcome.
