I speak of this in connection with Cain’s past endorsement of Romney and his spoken willingness to be a veep to Romney (but not to Perry).

That's because you are either misinformed or being willfully dishonest.

Cain endorsed Romney right before Super Tuesday when it basically was down to Romney and McCain.

Meanwhile, La Raza Rick endorsed Rudy in October 2007 when there were plenty of other conservative candidates in the race.

AS far as the veep comment, listen to what Cain said. He basically said that he was comfortable with what Romney's stated positions are TODAY and that he was NOT happy with Perry's stated positions TODAY. Like a good heartless conservative, he left Perry plenty of room to walk back his comments.

So, Cain still said he’d personally serve as veep to Romney, and we can leave out “if the stars are aligned.” Cain apparently does not believe the LDS will turn Mitt against him, or for that matter against any wise policy.
