I asked some Cain supporters yesterday some questions and got no answers. So I did some research and this is what I have found so far. I answered my own questions.
(If it is wrong - let me know because I know being for Perry there is a lot of disinformation out there)
Question: Was he an advisor or a formal Reserve Chairman in Kansas City 92-96?
answer: both
Reserve Bank of Kansas and served in the roles of deputy chairman and then chairman of the board from 92 -96.
Question:
I read that he was not for doing an audit on the Federal Reserve? True or not true
Answer: true but changed later
First quote I found:
The Federal Reserve already has so many audits, its ridiculous. I dont know why people think were gonna learn this great amount of information by auditing the Federal Reserve
Later he changed his mind:
About 4 weeks later he said he would be for it but it wasnt a priority.
Question: Was he for TARP?
Answer: Yes. He endorsed TARP Bailout. He said nationalizing banks is not a bad thing. and
no valid criticism had been brought forward of the extraordinary intervention in the economy.
Question: What is the Aquila Board of Directors? Legal Action? Shareholders lost millions? What is this all about?
This one needs more research.
But definitely 5 lawsuits in 2004 against Aquila Board of Directors in which Cain and other Company Officials are listed. Suits mingled into a single class action suit. Settled in 2005 for 10.5 million.
Violation: federal law requiring that employers manage employees retirement programs responsibly
I just watched clip of debate and he had no answer to Afghanistan. Then saw another clip of an interview and he had done some research and had more info but he still offered no ideas.
I have these major problems with him:
Endorsed Romney
My taxes go up under his 9-9-9 plan.
Him saying he would not support Perry if nominated.
And pulled race card regarding the rock against Perry before he knew the facts.
It is so easy to say I will do this and I will do that for someone who has never held any type of office that they have to deal with legislatures/congress.
