Some have made a little noise about an Obama attending Patrice Lumumba Uiversity in Moscow (1980's) -- not our hero but a relative? And in those days the Soviets had to have had myriad contacts in Kenya, BO Senior could have been one.
BTW the article is about Van Jones and Russian cash -- I don't think the article mentioned Van Jones admirer, former employee of a NBA team, and mayor of Sacramento, Kevin Johnson. As I recall he virtually ordered city employees to consult Jones' writings to find solutions to the city's many problems.

I think he might have been on a bunch of other stations when he was on WOR, but I would guess they all dropped him when WOR did. (Or maybe it wouldn't have been worth his while to continue without the WOR market contribution to his income.)

I too marvel when I go through aisle after aisle at OSH, Home Depot, Lowe’s. I’m amazed at the grand variety of drill bits, hammers and screws. I’m amazed at how many each say “Made in China.”
And, of course, I have the illegal day laborers to greet me when I arrive. Ain’t diversity and globalism grand?

He couldn’t even get through the first hour without reading from that book-it honestly sounds pretty darn bad from what he has read, maybe that’s why he is pushing it so hard

I've lived here the past forty years and it seems like nothing has been done by way of maintenance. It's permanently like a eastern state's Spring after a hard Winter of pavement damage -- but the only thing done is someone dumps a little asphalt in the holes from time to time.
In Sacramento there are two freeways -- one goes north and south straight through town and one goes east and west straight through town. We have US Hwy 50 that acts like a freeway and goes straight through town east and west.
There are a few exits along the way. That's it.
Our governor stopped construction when he was a Mao-lovin', little red book totin', spoiled brat -- and governor the first time.
He tried to get one of the occupy Wall Street organizers to come on the show but the guy said, No way!
Levin just said that if he (the organizer) leads people to harass individuals' homes he (Levin) would find out where the organizer lives and lead 25,000 people to his home.
3rd hour was usual waste of time . End of show back in August talking about campgrounds , etc...Duh !

someone needs to keep savage in check so he doesn’t spend whole hours on his book, heck whole hours/shows on any one topic is a snore.

CORRECTION: Levin did say that he would "find out where the organizer lives and lead 25,000 people to his home" -- but the condition was that he would do that if the organizer brought large numbers of people to bother him at one of his (rare) public appearances.
Interesting comment by groucho, anyone know if he's got any appearances coming up? Sounds like he's begging this group to show up at one of his appearances.
Savage's liberal lawyer friend probably did the same thing recently to ward off those Islamists (political Islam, sharia law advocates).
I mean no disrespect to Dr. Savage or others by posting info about Levin (I've often said IMO talk shows are about America not the host and I have no favorite host) -- besides believe it or not I heard Levin defend Savage against the British government's banning.
A caller surprised Levin asking what he thought about it. Levin defended Savage and continued the conversation. After the call finished he could not resist saying something about Oscar Myer though.
As far as appearances go.. Levin said at the time that his public appearances are rare. No surprise that like Dr. Savage he too has a new book due for release in the next few months but I think he avoids promoting his books in person.
