How did these people get a permit to wreak havoc? And if the city never issued a permit, why the heck haven’t these people been locked up? And if they did get a permit, often the group has to pay some kind of bond to cover any costs incurred. Did they pay, and who signed the check? And if a permit was indeed issued, why the heck, in light of recent events, hasn’t the permit been revoked? What the heck is Bloombug doing, just sitting there wih his thumb.....Well, you get the idea.

Evidently, the private park they have been using is owned by "Brookfield Office properties"... part of Brookfield Asset Management Inc.

NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg's long time girl friend Diana L. Taylor is on the board of directors for Brookfield Properties.

Another division of Brookfield (renewable energy) may have receive DOE energy loans.
