“FACE THE NATION (CBS): 2012 GOP presidential candidates Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich. Old Bob’s really going to have his hands full trying to discredit these two.”

Yes, and he failed miserably :-)))

Virtually nothing’s been mentioned about this on the thread today, but everyone should watch this show online if they missed it on tv. Probably the most gratifying FTN I can remember. Herman and Newt smacked Bob down regularly.

Newt’s part about the Judiciary being out of control was especially lively, citing precedents and the Constitution. A really brilliant mind there, and defeated Bob on every point of argument.

Watch the interview with these two sharp candidates against BS!

Yes, Newt makes so much sense when he is explaining a political situation, such as the overreach of some judges and justices. He and Herman were very good. A transcript worth reading. This link also has the video.

Example:
Schieffer: And why is that[Occupy Wall Street] anti-American?

Cain: It's anti-American because to protest Wall Street and the bankers is basically saying that you're anti-capitalism. The free market system and capitalism are the two things that have allowed this nation and this economy to become the biggest in the world. Even though we have our challenges, I believe the protests are more anti-capitalism and anti-free market than anything else.
