Wild guess would be Illinois governor, followed by a run for the White House. Doubtful Emanuel would make a 2014 U.S. Senate run against Dick Durbin, unless Durbin decides to retire. Durbin is 66 years old. Rhambo will be 52 next month.

Illinois just elected a Dem governor..who is busy running the state into the ground..he was the guy who INCREASED the state income tax by 67%.
Illinois is imploding...
After the Dems lose the Senate next year..Reid will NOT run for minority leader..there will be a steelc age match between Durbin and Schumer. Dems NEVER retire from the Senate....they get beaten..or carried out..
