No, I don't believe I can 'stfu'.

When Perry was leading in the polls this forum was rife with threads started by his supporters claiming victory was his. Was that 'spam' also? Is is 'spam' when his supporters continue to post every article about him they can find? Of course not. It's only spam if a conservative who doesn't support Perry posts.

I posted a graph showing how Perry has dropped in the polls. That may not be to your liking but there are many CONSERVATIVES who are pleased to see that Cain is rising as Perry is dropping like a rock. Live with it or contact your man and advise him on how you think he he can turn the polls around. But as he continues to drop I will continue to post about it and I will not 'stfu'.

When he was governor of New York, David Patterson got in trouble for accepting World Series tickets to a Yankees World Series game.

Perry supporters provided tickets, accommodations and charter air for Perry and his family to the Rose Bowl game, NCAA tournament games, European vacations and to Colorado to escape hot Texas weekends.

Perry's biggest contributor has been Bob Perry (the builder- $3+ million) and Rick rewarded Bob with the Texas Residential Construction Commission, which served as a roadblock against homeowners taking builders to court.

What Texas consider “good ol’ boys wheeling and dealing,” the rest of us see as dishonest and corrupt.

The answer to our troubles lies in a positive, optimistic vision

Empty words in light of Perry's negative campaign strategy.

I’m off to mail Rick Perry a donation while all the Perry bashers are here on this thread! (there are only a half dozen or so)

“He is the only electable conservative in the race “

You have told yourself that so often that you probably believe it.

People are not going to elect a man who isn't even capable of expressing simple thoughts coherently.

Why don’t you read the transcript and watch the video of his speech — seems pretty coherent to me.

Since jim listed mr cain as his number one choice, are you slamming him and saying he is trying to elect willard. You are walking on that thin ice with that +BS.

Perry’s cramming for the next debate harder than he crammed for that exam in “Poultry Feed” at Texas A&M.

Every word out of his mouth is focus-grouped to the nth degree.

We’re gonna play the Chug-a-lug game-——everytime Perry flips, we take a sip.

I would not be surprised if he gives the finger to Mexico during the debate.

So what if people post positive threads about their favorites. It's done for most of the candidates that can be discussed here. The issue is that you and your ilk get on every Perry thread and harass certain posters just because they take the time to post positive threads. It's disrespectful towards the posters.

It's more the way the pile on and herd mentality is on this site that is the problem. Posting facts is one thing if it's related to the topic of the thread. You spammed a thread to derail it from the actual topic being discussed. Which was Perry's speech.

If you want to give details on his polls then simply start your own thread and call your buddies to pile on all you want. However, your spamming the thread with an off topic graphic doesn't address what he said in his speech. Now is there anything in here that you disagree with or agree with? IF so then state your opinion. If you can't discuss the topic then please kindly find another thread or start your own.

(Chuckles.) You know, you think about that. You know, some hold this worldview that government must be central in our – in our lives and serve as our caretaker. They seek more than equal opportunity, they seek equal outcomes. And you know, those in the White House today don't believe – they don't believe in American exceptionalism. They'd rather emulate the failed policies of Europe.

But we see what their policies have led to: 14 million Americans out of work, 45 million Americans on food stamps. And according to Wednesday's Wall Street Journal, Bob (sp), nearly half of Americans now receive government benefits.

You know, in response to this economic misery, you know, liberals are now pointing the finger of blame at successful employers under the guise of fairness. But when they utter phrases like "fair share," you just know – (chuckles) – they're once again playing fast and furious with the truth. (Laughter.) (Chuckles.) And the truth is you can't rev up the engine of an economic growth by heaping higher taxes on job creators. You can't spread success by punishing it. You can't unite our country by dividing it.

The answer to our troubles lies in a positive, optimistic vision, with policies rooted in American exceptionalism. See, American exceptionalism is the product of unlimited freedom. And there is nothing troubling our nation today that cannot be solved by the rebirth of freedom – nothing. (Cheers, applause.) I happen to believe in this great country of ours. I believe in the capacity of our people to create prosperity through private ingenuity. I believe in the values of the American people. Americans know anything worth achieving in life requires hard work, not government's handouts. And this present generation of Americans, they're not looking for government to lead the way. They're looking for America to get out of the way so that they can make the most of the freedom for their families.

But you can't live free if you can't find a job. You can't live free if you inherit $46,000 bill in the federal debt. You can't live free when the government gets between you and your doctor.

I believe it's time to revive freedom for our families and our employers. If we're going to get entrepreneurs and small businesses off the mat and on their feet again, we need to freeze all of the pending federal regulations that are out there for the next six months – freeze them all. (Cheers, applause.) We need to cut taxes for families and employers because the only kind of stimulus that will work is the kind that puts more money in your pocket, not government's. (Applause.)

We – we need to repeal the job-killing bureaucratic nightmare that's known as "Obamacare."

There's plenty more at the link in the OP.

“Governor Perry is an inspiring speaker. It’s a far better way for him to express himself, his goals and beliefs, than in some media gotcha debate circus.”

You mean that he lacks the ability to compete in the arena of ideas for thousands of years, the debate?

I didn't read all that, it doesn't interest me; I know enough about Perry to know he is no conservative. And your opinion of my posting habits doesn't interest me either.

As long as Perry and his liberal record are being pushed in this CONSERVATIVE forum I will post in support and defense of conservatism.

If you’re all out against Romney (as the site founder is, along with a lot of us) beware the cutsy Cain Train... you may find out that the train stops at Romney.

Just sayin’

Maybe the banned people should be those who are attacking the only real hope against Romney and that’s Perry.

Gee, I didn’t think trolls could get any worse than those we used to encounter on the Palin threads.

Gotta say pissant is starting to look good to me.

These Cain people are mean sobs.
