In news sure to inject shock and awe into the Republican political primary season, a Zogby poll released Thursday showed Herman Cain leading the Republican field, topping former front-runner Mitt Romney by an astonishing 20 points ........

Six degrees of Mister Roberts?
If an actual African-American (with slave blood ;) looks like a viable candidate, maybe they finally use the brains God gave them and turn against Obama.
Not likely.......but possible. As Cain has said. They're brainwashed.
Oh Gosh no, I just wanted to voice my displeasure that this was not a new poll backing up the zogby poll.....I got all excited!
A Essay on Mitt Romney. Its damning.
heh heh, I know what you mean. As a general rule I don't put much faith in any so called (push) poll as they are often worded to attain a pre-determined desired result. That's why I only trust the one taken at the end of the day on election day. But since so many put their faith into them then why not play along and watch the mayhem when ones candidate gets gored by these so called polls. < /pessimism>
Ditto all that. My first thought was ‘is this the same poll?’.
And I’ve already made a donation to Cain.
I’m holding off to give Perry one more chance to look half-way credible in the debates. If he fails again, that’s it. I’m on the Cain Train.
Moved Solid to CAIN when Sarah out! With Perry's supports starting to act like Rabid PAULBOTS... He can now join PAUL and ROMNEY.. anyone of those 3 get the Nomination, I may leave the President line ... BLANK!!! as I've only done ONCE before!!
“Seismic Shift” - Oh yes he Cain!!!!
RAISE CAIN!!!
Du'oh!? That's what I expect from the leader of the free world, someone who is not afraid to be Politically Incorrect when necessary. This is the mark of a true leader, telling it like it is and sugar coating it. All the rest can go back to playing tiddly-winks in the sandbox with the rest of their spineless political playmate night crawlers.
You are most definitely correct. I blame my misspelling on the cat.
And in another totally unrelated story, Rosie O’Donnell exploded after just one more bean burrito.
Just wait until Cain starts getting some hard questions. He has been given pretty much a pass by the LMS and others at the debates.
The book tour is NOT a mistake per say. Maybe he could better use the venue and move up his appearances in Iowa and NH while promoting the book!! I would combine the two to the greatest extent possible. But then that's just me and I am better than many strategists out there.
In fact I sat and listened to a segment on Megan Kelly's show this morning (afternoon on the East coast) where one of the participants quoted my 2009 paper “The Role of Congress in the recession of 2008”. It wasn't a direct quote, but it was all the dots I originally connected 2 years ago. Many have quoted individual parts, but this fellow quoted more extensively than anyone I have ever seen. I am DAMN glad that I wrote it and made it public. It is somewhat gratifying to have people finally quoting from it more directly because the argument I made then was based on facts, it was just that no one had put them all together before I did.
Herman is not going to be hurt by this Book Tour, in fact he will gain. maybe not as much as if he were in Iowa or NH in those specific states, but Nationally, it is going to only add to his candidacy.
WOW! 20 points, even if they’ve “rounded up” that is still mighty impressive.
LoL!
Did you happen to see his combative interview with Lawrence O’Donell? How about his appearance on “The View?”
He’s not hiding from the leftists.
Considering that he has been in near total seclusion since right after the last debate where he put his foot in his mouth so disgracefully and being kept away from cameras and microphones, being tutored by supposedly the best in the technique of debate maybe he'll be a better debater this time around. But what I'll be looking for this time around is his flip-flops on core issues of importance to us voters. They'll be there so stay tuned and watch for them. He has to flip-flop on key positions or soft-pedal them if he is to keep his campaign alive beyond this next debate.
IMO if he trips again, even just a little bit since expectations for him are riding even higher than they were before, this time he is all washed up as a top-tier contender. He must score big if that is possible. In reality I really just don't see him making much of a comeback after his infamous "no heart" comment which will inevitably dog him the rest of the campaign.
