Rosie O’Donnell has one big regret.

Days before the launch of “The Rosie Show” on the struggling OWN network, the controversial talk-show host says she is still kicking herself over a famous, televised ambush of Tom Selleck.

“In hindsight, if I had to redo [it], I would do it differently,” she admits.

He is “a kind man, who, for the rest of his life, has to be associated with me and that one event.”

Are you sure that is not Chaz Bono halfway through hormone therapy?

Can’t you just wait until Rosie appears on Dancing With The Stars?

That episode of Family Guy had me laughing so hard I couldn’t catch my breath and thought I was going to pass out.

My wife sees absolutely no humor in that show. Go figure.

LOL. This disgusting, repulsive, sick pig lives in an intensely small and narcissistic world.

I've seen Tom Selleck many times since 1999 and not once has Rosie come to mind.

Rosie, you're dreaming.

There’s a lot of things I wouldn’t have looked at twice, 25 years ago.

[like 25 year old guys, for instance]

I’ve been watching Oprah’s “behind the scenes” series (of her last 25 shows), although I’ll admit I’ve never watched one of her shows over the last 25 years, including any of the last 25 shows.

The BTS shows have been interesting. From a political sense, you can see how limited a typical celebrity’s frame of reference is - when she interviewed #43 after his book came out (she read his book) Oprah was surprised at what she didn’t know about Katrina (chain of command, etc). She gave #43 a fair stage to discuss it and admitted to her audience that she didn’t know these facts. One of her producers of that show (interviewing #43) was gay and a republican... interesting.

Rosie is trying to become another Oprah, and from that comment about Tom S, you can see how deluded celebrities can be “legends in their own minds”.

I came to respect Oprah just a bit after watching those Behind the Scenes shows but it’s just sad that the MSM spews drivel that everyone laps up. Too many people are influenced by sound bytes.

And Rosie, as sad as her attempts to mainstream herself are to watch - is still a crappy role model and generally nuts.

I was not a fan of her show as well. Back in the day when we had televised programming, I happened upon the show featuring Selleck as a guest. The rest is history.

He handled himself well. She did not.

Rosie was introduced to the double-standard smack down when she decided to sucker punch Selleck with her cowardly attack.

I collect little bits and pieces of history. Using stamps to find those little bits and pieces. Stamp collecting can be/is a lot of fun and an education.
