That’s interesting about some of her kids voting no this time around. I sure that was a major factor in her decision. It would be with me. I wish Sarah well, and will continue to pray for her.
Thanks for all the Palin pings onyx. I’ve been going through a bit of withdrawal the last few days, so I was glad to get one today. It sounds like we haven’t seen the last of Sarah Palin yet. I am a little more encouraged after listening to this interview.
Our country won’t be able to change for the better until droves of good, honest, conservatives are elected at all levels. And we have to hold their feet to the fire to continue to keep them honest ... power truly does corrupt.
We will start a brand new wonderful list for her!

I’m keenly interested to learn what she’ll have to say, not that she is not going to be a candidate!
Thank you for your lopyal and wonderful support and we’ll continue to pray for her and for our Republic but we have to get about trying to wisely choose the candidate we want for our nominee.

Ok, I see all your comments toward mrspeelwerneeded. Like many on this forum, I am having to deal with some deep bitter resentments, yes grief and that toward Palin. I do not agree that “family” should have swayed her decision as this should have been dealt with and decided go/no go way back when she started running (and I believe she was running ever since 2008).
Because someone in your family at any point getting cold feet somewhere along the way...well would she have dropped out in the middle of running against Obama? Again, the family issue should have been dealt with before she started working to set up the campaign till Oct. 5th.
That being the past, I have been looking, praying for some light, hope for the country ahead. To this point I don’t see any. None of the candidates show any of the energy, conservatism that I look for. They are all wanting sadly. And yes, even Cain. Don’t get me started on Cain’s racist charges against Perry. I don’t support Perry either, but Perry is no racist.
Oh, I figure the GOP nominee will win the WH. Yes, I will hold my nose and vote for “the lesser of two evils”. How much of a mandate will that person have? A little maybe. How much will they work to roll back the damage done by Obama? I can’t see any of the current crop doing anything but going along to get along. In a word, we are stuck with the GOP establishment mediocrity.
Maybe we are doomed to eat the fruit of our past mistakes.
How much influence will Palin have in this race? I can’t see it as much considering the energy she would have brought to this fight as a candidate for Presidency. I firmly believe, with the goodwill of the people she was leading she could have done amazing things even with Congress beyond what many here cannot conceive of.

I haven’t said much here since Palin’s (IMO) stupid decision. And you are free to flame me if you wish, berate me for whatever. You are not going to make me feel much worse than Palin already has.
