Most useless thread of the year, or the most disturbing. I read the Canard Enchaine regularly in the 80s for a number of years. It is a French equivalent of The Onion.
The author seems to be blissfully unaware of that.
Satire, by definition is mostly silly fiction delivered with a straight face. Someone has seriously overreacted.
