RE: Bush did it and Obama has put a stop to it

I heard a caller or two yesterday express this on talk radio. Though no mention of Bush was made.. just "prior administrations" have done this many times. I guess mentioning Bush would make the caller sound like a typical Bush-basher.

But the ruling class members on the left can mention Bush.

Boy those aged 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus spoiled brats and their ideological issue may be punks but they ain't stupid. They are everywhere and are arguably "the Establishment."

If Plan B fails Obama/Holder now have a surefire Plan C -- their reliable nuclear option -- screaming "Racism! Racism! Racism! Racism! Racism! Racism!"

The Wikipedia story includes this sentence:

"Operation Wide Receiver did not allow guns to be 'walked' into Mexico, as the straw purchasers were apprehended before they could move the weapons to Mexico."

So, while it is possible (maybe even probable) that the BATFE under Bush administration ran a gun smuggling sting, there is at least one very important difference between "Wide Receiver" and "Fast and Furious".
