I prefer Cain but answer (the question is, who has best chance to BEAT Willard and Obama) Perry, for this reason:

Cain would be savaged (well, extra savaged) because he is a conservative black. I have seen what the MSM and, alas, swing voters do to conservative blacks or even liberal ones who step momentarily off the proverbial plantation (Juan Williams). Once it became clear Cain was the nominee, it would be a vitriolfest to make 2008’s bias look moderate by comparison.

Cain is my favorite by a long shot! My hubby says TPTB will use his cancer against him. I’m not sure how effective their scare tactics will be this go around though......

It's going to be that regardless of who wins the GOP nomination.

Cain-bashing may backfire if he catches on with some prominent blacks. He’s a tough man and can handle whatever is thrown at him, IMHO. Let’s wait another month and see what happens. Right now, I’m all for Cain. Perry is my back-up. After him, I don’t know.

I think you’re right that he will be savaged...but my guess is that anyone else will be too, except maybe Romney because he’s one of them.

Of everyone who could possibly win the nomination, I believe Cain will hold up the best to the inevitable savaging by the crazed left.

Fact of the matter is this is going to be a vicious election for the simple reason that the marxists are so damn close to winning the game that they won’t go down without one hell of a fight.

One thing that really impressed me about Cain is that he never really loses his composure - I think he’ll weather the storm.
