Bought an Apple II SE, I think that's what it was called, in early 1990. Paid about $3500 (actually CHARGED on credit)...had a small 7-8 inch screen - black and white, yet I did a ton of free lance desktop publishing...typesetting for a number of local printing outfits and customers needing some very "specialized skill" at the time, which allowed me the opportunity to stay home with my new born son...for about 12 months, until I ended up with a most fantastic job. Anyways...was a great investment at the time! My oh my! How far we've come!

Come to think of it, it was the Macintosh II SE...not an "Apple II SE." ... Get this! ...came with a 20 or 40 MB hard drive! L-O-L!!!! Again...thanks Steve! May God rest your soul.
