Had she run, the key reason I would have considered voting for someone else in the primaries was the unbounded visciousness of some of her supporters. It’s an illogical response I know, but I’ve never seen such unrelenting, hair-trigger nastiness.

Sure, there were pro-everyone nasties to varying degrees, but none of the others ever turned me off to their candidate. I realize my experience is purely subjective but I’ve never seen or experienced anything else like a certain subset of vile pro-Palin obsessives on FR.
