Listen to all the fatal-istic yahoos.
“We’re doomed! We’re doomed! Only my candidate could have beaten Obama!” I’ve heard that line with various candidates, from backers of Sarah Palin to Rick Perry to Mitt Romney to Ron Paul, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. “Only my candidate is/was electable.”
Puh-leease, that’s just showing biased all-or-nothing favoritism. And while there is no perfect candidate and I have not endorsed a candidate, there are probably several of the announced candidates who can defeat Barack Hussein Obama.
It’s time to stop listening to the talking head pundits and the lamestream media. Declarations of “it’s between Perry and Romney now, period,” have proven to be short-lived. We’re a long way from the first vote cast in the first state’s primary or caucus and many things can happen.
The vetting process is good so we can choose the best possible candidate. It’s not good to listen to “whispering campaigns” full of half-truths at best and deliberate falsehoods at worse. Let’s set the record straight with accurate quotes and voting records not taken out of context and not let manipulative media headlines influence our thinking.
Think for yourselves. Don’t even base your vote on who endorses who. I’ve had favorites who have backed other candidates I did not support. T’is the nature of politics as nobody is 100% in-line with your political philosophies.
I'm another who declines to join the circular firing squad.
