I went through this when she quit the governor’s job. It is HARD! I did pin a lot of hopes on this girl. She was the hero of my teenage daughters, who also wanted to run for President. There was a lot of grief...sounds silly, but it isn’t.
Nope it’s very real. People can make fun of it all they want but that’s like telling the sun not to rise. Reality doesn’t care what anyone wants and the 5 stages thing is real. And it doesn’t take the loss of a loved one to experience.
It even applies to the PDsers in this case. They aren’t getting the reaction they want from Palin’s supporters so they are still stuck in the ‘anger’ part and pushing buttons. They thought they’d feel ‘vindicated’ but they are discovering (at least some that aren’t so far gone) that it’s a pretty hollow victory.
