Norm, thank you for a well thought post. I posted my heart on another thread, and it isn’t as rational or thought out as yours was.
As much as I’d agree with you about Cain, I am afraid he will never see the inside of the Oval Office unless it’s on a tour. Not that he isn’t a good man and a fine American with some great ideas, because he is. However, Barry the Boob has forever poisoned the idea of a black man in the White House.
At it’s most base form, I can just see a couple of good ol’ boys, sitting on a porch somewhere, and one saying to the other “Ain’t no way in Hell we ever gonna let another n****r in the White House.” Crass, yes...but I’ll bet that’s the mindset of a LOT of people...and even in the hierarchy of the GOP.

I do not doubt for a second that there are those that feel that way. I consider them to be liberals regardless of their stated affiliation and thus Pieces OS. Screw them. I’m going to vote for the most Conservative person available and I could care less what color he is.
And if Utopia burns, so be it. That only means America truly is over.
