So it is my fault if the tax money isn’t there to pay my job at the library or a company outsources it’s operations to Asia ? Why would an elected Republican work to “create jobs” for those they deem to be too lazy to want to work?

How does this make sense?

I think I understand Cain's thinking, but he needs a little more tact. Sharron Angle lost in NV after she said unemployed workers are "spoiled."

Reagan could communicate conservative ideas without antagonizing voters. Cain is brilliant, but I think he needs to think before speaking sometimes.

The government has no business trying to create large numbers of jobs! For each job funded through tax dollars to appear it becomes necessary for those paying the taxes to let a few employees off of their balance sheet. The best that a government can do is to create a nation where hard work and smart work are rewarded directly by the market. If a government can create such an order and then keep from meddling in the affairs of honest businesses then the nation's job creators will soon be vying for the last cost productive workers. However we currently have lawyers and governmental agencies harming business for fun and profit, we have a crooked system to provide justice which caters to the highest bidder, our tax system is punishing of profit the key motivation for a capitalist economy, and counter intuitive political correctness is forced on all to the detriment of all. Oh for a government that respected the bounds of only doing what is absolutely necessary!

I lost a job as a teacher because my position disappeared in 2008.

I got in a car, drove 1000 miles, conducted 14 interviews, got 3 offers, and chose one. I’ve been working there for 3 years even though 4 teachers were cut from the school.

I think that is Cain’s point.
