I like Palin and think she is the most conservative of the pack.

But is she really electable at this point?

The leftist aholes have been attacking her for over three years. Yeah, it sucks and it has been completely unfair and unwarranted. But can we really pretend that this strategy of personal attack that they’ve been employing for 80 years is not successful?

I’ve been flamed before for saying this, but I’ll say it again.

I think the economic situation is irreversible at this point. Oh, it could be fixed, if Americans were not so dumbed-down and spoiled rotten. But the majority are. And the “austerity” it would take to fix the economy would take about ten years to undo all that the left has done, and I don’t think Americans have the stomach for it.

So I think it may be best to keep the majority in one house, let them keep the White House, block whatever horribly destructive bills the left passes to minimize the damage, and allow the economy to continue to implode on their watch.

If we win and try to fix the economic situation, they will ensure that it does not succeed and then will blame the failure on us and our ideology. That’s the reality.

If someone can convince me that the economic situation can be fixed in four years, please convince me. I’d love to be convinced. I’ve been studying the macro-economic situation intently for five years now and don’t believe that it can be in a practical sense. Yes, it can be in theory. But in reality I think many Americans would have no problem giving up their freedom and sovereignty for the false promise of economic stability under a global currency and an economy centrally planned at the global level.

i think a combination of cuts in govt spending, decreased regulation, entitelent reform, expansion of energy production will create a much more robust economy that will get us out of this hole quicker than 10 years.

Zero will not be re-elected. Palin will run against crony capitalism, as well as on her common sense platform of energy production, economy, and security, will attract independents and democrats. She is actually well-positioned to pull this off. She needs to stay on message, be very prepared for debates, and stay positive, using friendly sarcasm on Zero and his policies, and be relentlessly anti-Obozo.
