It's not a preview of the rest of the country, but it's a good reminder that 2012 is not going to be a cakewalk despite what many people keep telling themselves.
If the Dem wins this reported as a huge show of support for Obama.
If the Dem loses, this is no big deal, not worth reporting
If she is our nomunee. Sarah Palin would carry West Virginia by 15%. It is only blue at a local level.
ACORN’d
They might even get more votes than registered voters. lol.
never know these days.
82% in ...50 - 47
exploit the miners?
easy, get a job doing something else.
:)
If we could just trim that lead down to recount range
Pro-Coal until after they are elected right? Really, it’s pathetic that after almost 3 years of the Marxist, that they cannot see the destruction he has inflicted and the destruction coming, then, as stated before, the population of WV deserve everything coming.
Unions...they disgust me. They’ve manage to drive out and shut down industry in this country and they apparently are in it to do the same to the Owners of the coal mines.
Why is it that these things are crystal clear to us while others refuse to see at all?
That tells me that the only thing that will snap them out of it is a complete collapse. Unfortunately, that collapse will not be isolated to them, but will be the entire country. And It is coming!
Not gonna happen.
Sheeple are blind, MSM propaganda works on many people
Not now.
Well, guys. This does not surprise me. I am from Southeast Ohio (across the river) and I know West Virginia. It is a blue state at a local level. Local democrats tend to be very socially conservative. But West Virginia’s electoral votes will not go to Barack Obama next year.
I hope you are right that it is not an indicator but in spite of all evidence, all the hard facts of what is being done; those people are still voting dem. Unbelievable!
No, 2012 is not going to be a cake walk. Personally, I’m expecting violence during the election.
It is...every man/woman for themselves. We can’t fix stupid.
Story of the election:
8000 margin.
6200 margin in Logan alone. If Logan with 7k voters went 55-45, That’s 4000 more voters.
Logan was the difference here.
From 30 points down to 4. 52-48 isn’t a bad result. Can’t win ‘em all. :(
YC...Sarah is not running...
Very sorry for the American's in occupied West Virginia.
Do you know something I don’t ? It sounds like she is getting ready to enter based on reports earlier today.
I don’t see why she wouldn’t.
Whatever perrywinkle.
WV GOP is a waste of time. Just as with the last Senatorial election, had it not been for the candidate’s own personal wealth, there would have been NO campaign.
Someone up-thread said it was a lack of grass roots organization that hurts the WV GOP. IMO, that’s a crock! The WV GOP hierarchy is corrupt through and through. Just look at the way the “primary” was run in ‘08. In ‘10, they ran a life-long RAT who switched parties earlier that year (he was POed at the Rats because he got primaried out in a judicial race in ‘08) to run against Rahall.
Sickening. The Democrats should not be able to win and election anywhere, but especially in a coal state.
They didn’t vote for Zer0 and last I checked, the WV Governor has no vote in DC.
