You might be right. I am not exposed to the liberals in the universities, since I attended only graduate college in engineering in US, many moons ago and I did not see much politics there.
As for the MSM, they seem to push socialism more than race. They are more for extending unemployment, higher taxes on the rich, socialized medicine, etc. OTOH I can’t ever recall Jesse Jackson or AL Sharpton on TV without bringing up race.

Since Obama was the personification of leftist beliefs, the only reason that anyone could oppose him and his policies MUST BE his race.

Hmm. I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that perhaps Samuel L. Jackson, Morgan Freeman, et. al. might be the *real* racists in this country — or at least are intent on racial warfare. Perhaps, just perhaps, they’re filled to their eyeballs with a searing desire for revenge and/or recompense from the evil white race for 400 years of injustice. Never mind that the rest of the country has renounced racism, fought a civil war to end it, and has bent over backwards to make everyone equal under the law. Perhaps it will never be enough in the eyes of those two (and a lot of others), because nothing short of a 400-year role reversal and a few oceans full of blood will be enough in their eyes.
Nah. That can’t be it.

But racist? So is CORE, NAACP, Miss Black America!etc. So is about everything for the past 40+ years (and especially focused the past 10 years).
