Ditto on West, although I really dont think hes seriously contemplating a run - not this time around anyway.
As for Gov. Palin; My take is that I didn’t really think she’d run, but she seems to enjoy playing games with the establishment and media’s heads - which I’d say she is doing quite entertainingly well.
Of course she might have been waiting to see how the Candidates were going to sort themselves out before she gets in when and where it is most to her advantage. That way she will have avoided all the potential pitfalls of the previous debates - traps which Perry and to some extent Bachmann seem to have stepped on and fallen in to.
Perry is going to have a very tough time digging himself out of the hole he currently inhabits.
Sarah knows what it’s like to be led into a trap (remember Katie Kouric?) and I think she will be very wary of them should she choose to give politics another go.
I suspect she might have read up on Sun Tzu, and learned from him well. She’s biding her time, treading lightly, and keeping down wind of her quarry.
We might be watching an expert Huntress at work here.
Will she take her shot or let it pass for another day?
Is her scope dialed in this time?
If so I doubt she’ll miss her mark.
Now the sound of a Palin/West ticket has a definite attraction to it.
This might get even interestinger.
Stay tuned!
