Ok, let’s call it a 9% sales tax and not VAT, I guess you are correct on that. But I still see a national sales tax being raised again and again until it reaches 20% as it is in many countries in Europe. I would be for his plan except for this 9 % sales tax.. How about adjusting the numbers without the sales tax component?
Because everyone pays the sales tax, not just a few, the sales tax would be harder to raise than the income tax, or specific brackets of the income tax, where you can use class warfare to gain acceptance of the increase.
