The ship and its cargo are completely forfeit, and by the law of the sea the crew are pirates. Therefore, the best solution is for the whole vessel and its contents to be scuttled, the crew arrested and tried as pirates, using photographic evidence.

No way should this be permitted into a US port.

I guess the crew could claim to believe the ship is registered. That claim could even be true.
