For twenty years – long before 9/11 – the danger of terrorists armed with surface to air missiles shooting at passenger planes has been the secret fear of many top political leaders. In the late 90s, a terrorist network was nabbed trying to bring them into Newark Airport, but the airline industry and the government have done nothing to equip passenger airplanes with any defense against these always deadly missiles.
Now Barack Obama has committed the ultimate sin: He has let 20,000 surface-to-air missiles escape from military depots in Libya. According to ABC News “U.S. officials had once thought there was little chance that terrorists could get their hands on many of the portable surface-to-air missiles that can bring down a commercial jet liner. But now that calculation is out the window, with officials at a recent secret White House meeting reporting that thousands of them have gone missing in Libya.” An estimated 20,000 of these “portable, heat-seeking missiles have gone missing from unguarded Army weapons warehouses.”
Senator Barbara Boxer, of the Senate’s Commerce, Energy, and Transportation Committee said that “matching up a terrorist with a shoulder-fired missile, that’s our worst nightmare.
And now, thanks to Obama’s carelessness and his unnecessary decision to intervene in Libya, it may be our future reality.

The missiles supposedly “escaped” on their own. I love the way the MSM words these things. They torture the English language to promote their propaganda message.
This appears to have been the reason the Obama administration spent billions of U.S. taxpayer money to overthrow Khaddafi. Obama wanted to give the missiles to his friends. It is very similar to the Obama administration providing guns to Mexican drug cartels only with more powerful weapons..
The story makes no sense. If Libya had such massive reserves wouldn’t they have spent a couple of the rockets against the NATO bombers. The months of airstrikes that were trying to kill Kadaffi were not answered with fusillades of SAMS.
More likely IF there was a stockpile of anything it probably would be artillery projectiles such as katyushas.

But then again, the response would have been a lot stronger that the "kinetic" version we delivered. You don't tug on Superman's cape, you don't "spit" into the wind, and you don't provoke our warplanes....
I wonder if any of his Generals, Admirals, CIA, FBI alerted him to the possibility of this disaster?
I’d eat a turd sandwich on thin bread before I’d defend the zer0, but aren’t the Chiefs of Staff delegated the authority to inform the WORST PRESIDENT EVER that this could happen and see that he follows up on it?
Certainly the man-child is not in total control of every battlefield troop movement and intricate actions of our military campaigns. If so, it’s like when we were little boys playing with our plastic “Army-men”.
There should be an investigative hearing on who knew what and what the Muslim imposter POTUS was told.

More than likely the Missiles are now in Iran.
The whole thing was an Iranian set-up to begin with.
Iran is now running the entire Mid-east including Egypt.
They have been supplying IED’s against our troops for years.
It would have seemed that our Intelligence Agencies(An oxymoron if there ever was one) would have known where the missiles were stored and destroyed them with their bombing effort, but that obviously was not done.
This whole Libyan deal has been a Cluster f*** from beginning to end. Much like the rest of Obama’s term.
It appears the surface to air missiles were controlled by people loyal to Hamas or Iran or one of the many violent, Muslim groups in the area. It is appears they were loyal to these groups not Khaddafi who they saw as destined for overthrow.
They did not want the surface to air missiles bombed and destroyed by U.S. air strikes so they kept them hidden so that they could remove them and use them effectively in the future.
It maybe a matter of him not wanting anyone to know he had them. And, when it was time to use them, he may not have had the launchers, or he was saving them for “The last battle”?
The WMD- chemical weapons from Iraq that no one believed Iraq had, have turned up in Syria. Why didn’t Saddam use them?
But considering that 1,000 high tech assault weapons were shipped across the boarder, and now 20,000 heat seeking surface to air missiles are missing- in a war Obama defied Congress over, and we have planes with heat sensing markers in arabic that mysteriously appeared on their exteriors, and Iran and Hezbollah are setting up shop in South America, and Iran is busy cruising just outside our waters, and Amadinnerjacket boasting of Irans plans against the US, Israel and the world, while the MSM rejoices over Iran’s Islamic “Arab Spring” all throughout the ME, I think we may have some reason to be somewhat concerned.....
