Absolutely. And in the long run, that's all that counts.
How she behaves will determine things in the future; with people who are dysfunctional, there is a definate pattern of behavior that pops out all the time and a specific scenario that replays itself. If she stays out of trouble from here on out and then lives as normal a life as possible, wiht nothing coming up, it will in time prove that she was definately innocent of foul play. If she starts out fine, but her lifestyle degenerates, then it will prove that she was certainly up to no good.
