why did her and her boyfriend make up demonstrably false stories about the night?

Oh also then why did the black guy confess that he did the murder after he ran away to Germany and they picked him up there and brought him back to Italy..then he congessed..
I would say she was being interrogated fiercely and she was frightened. 18 years old and just starting college in a country far away from home.
My daughter would fall apart in that situation! By blaming someone else, yes you can say what a stupid move. But, imagine what she went through at such a young age.
Finally she is coming home and I know she deserves to come home. There wasn’t any evidence pointing to her at all.
