Gingrich is only in the lead if you insert the horribly unscientific Rasmussen poll which called about 700 likely but not necessarily registered voters. That poll shows Gingrich at 32% and Cain at 13%. That then horribly skews the Real Clear Politics poll which is an average of the others. Rasmussen is showing some VERY illogical numbers. In Oct. 19, they showed Cain up by 28%, and it seems they didn’t like that so they massaged their calling profile on Nov. 15 to get the Gingrich 32% and Cain 13% There’s no way Gingrich doubled his support and Cain lost half, not given the fact he reached his fund raising goal a month early, and has over 800 Precinct captains already, and over twice as many facebook fans added the past month over any other candidate.
The most scientific poll is the Iowa State University poll which called 1,245 registered voters, likely to vote also, and in that poll, conducted by the Political Science Department, showed Cain actually holds a 24.5% lead over Paul with 20%, Romney 16%, Gingrich 5%. When actual registered voters likely to vote are called. Gingrich doesn’t fair so well. Like in his shared Cain home state of Georgia. Cain got 52% of the vote in the GA straw poll, Gingrich got 22%. Where’s the reporting on that? The media is so in the tank for Gingrich and Romney at this point, anything to stop Cain from getting the nomination, it’s pretty obvious. When the polls showed Cain in the lead, which most still do, they were ignored and questioned and scoffed at, and now, two show Gingrich in the lead, skewing the rest, and they’re taken as gospel. What a crock.
Hannity and Rush have been GREAT speaking the truth about Cain.
But Romney is a RINO and Gingrich is a establishment hack with a very questionable history. Romney, the Massachusetts RINO liberal who passed Romney Care and flips on all issues depending on what state he’s talking in, got ONE New Hampshire endorsement and NBC heavily reports it, but Cain gets THIRTEEN state wide endorsements in New Hampshire, and not a peep about them. Gingrich lies about taking only $300K from Freddie Mac, and now we know he has a stipend that’s paid him over $1.6 MILLION. AND he cheated his wife sick with cancer, casting HUGE doubts as to his character and ability to tell the truth. Romney and Gingrich are business as usual establishment GOP RINO status quo. They’re more of the same, just less destructive than Obama, but Romney and Gingrich are NOT traditional Conservative Constitutional values. They’re just not.
