I’m concerned that illegal aliens are being coddled and given special taxpayer-paid benefits instead of deported to their country of origin, as the law requires. That’s the deal breaker.

Bingo. That's what "allowed Perry to go down in flames".

We do this every time, and then end up with the RINO. I’m guilty of it too.

NOBODY is perfect. Yeah, we could have some far better candidates, but several (Perry, Newt, Cain, Santorum) would do some truly good things for the country (even if it’s “half a loaf” in some ways). Yet, we do all the left’s bidding for them, and when our candidates make a stupid gaffe, rather than support them and hope they remedy it, we trash them ourselves and have nobody left to support, throwing the nomination to Romney, McCain, Dole, even Bush, etc.

You ought to ask yourself, “Which of the Republican candidates is strong on immigration?”

The look up what you can find. You’ll be surprised to find that all our candidates are weak on it.

Except Bachmann... and she’s gone down in flames, lately.

And if all are weak, then why do you single out Perry? Should you not then look at all the other important issues and judge accordingly?
