Whatever Perry's record in Texas most people including myself have only been exposed to Mr Perry through his run for president and will have to make a determination based on that.

He came in on a white horse and was supposed to save America and the world. So far his performance has proved lackluster and disappointing.

I only hope he is able to find his footing before he falls too far. I am sure you will agree that another weak performance will finish Mr Perry. He is under a lot of pressure to show the country that he has what it takes. It is crunch time.

This is not a high school debate contest. We have much higher stakes than that. This is someone to be the president of the US.

The more I compare Perry's accomplishments to that of the rest of the field, the more comfortable I am with having him in charge of my security.

He's already proven he knows how to run an economy--at least he has good enough sense to stay of the way, unlike this idiot we have now in the WH.

He has protected TX businesses from frivilous lawsuits. How many other governors have recognized the need to do that?

He is strong on Second Amendment rights--he's proven that, along with states' rights. Perry helped defund Planned Parenthood which has already caused some PPs to shut the doors.

If you think his debating skills are enough to not vote for him, think again. I just plain do not care. I want more substance than that.
