To you and all the other apologists for Herman Cain. Bull! NO ONE on this site that knows my posting history can accuse me in any possible way, that can be believed, that I am a racist. So here goes. This coddling of a black man, excusing him from any bad motives for doing this, or understanding why he "had to do it" is insulting to other black people who don't resort to this race-baiting crap to win. What is that, affirmative action for black politicians -- what, they need an edge? Good grief how condescending can you be? You think they need a crutch, a head start? It's insulting to make this accommodation for black people as if they must be allowed these "lapses" of character, decorum and fair-play. I refuse to play that game. I expect people to live with honor and respect.
Your response was weak and out of proportion to what the original statement was about. I don’t think anyone mentioned “crutch”, affirmative action” or any of the other adjectives you used in your impassioned response. In my opinion you are a Perry supporter who is seeking to deflect attention away from Rick Perry sinking like a rock in the polls. Hope your man does better in the next debate.
You might not be a racist, but you are a Perry supporter. If you believe Perry, most of us on FR are heartless racists.
Your harping on this story feeds right into the hands of jerks like Sharpton. If you think most people will think badly of Herman Cain because he called Perry that terrible word, "insensitive", even if he was wrong, your not living in reality. More press about Perry and the "N" word, even if he did not use it, is where the damage will come.
This is a story that all conservatives should have just dropped. Let the liberals and the MSM do their own dirty work.
After that post, painting all Cain supporters with one broad brush and insisting that Cain used the Race Card, the only reasonable response to you is ... you first!
