I too am in favor of a national primary day which seems the fair way to do this...Fairness is pretty low on the scale of what we should be trying to favor.
Any process that does not consistently nominate conservative winners is a failure.
Any process that has failed consistently since 1988 should be abolished.

I'd love to have nothing but good conservative nominees, but lets get there fairly. I've had enough of corruption.
