I’ve seen enough clips online where he’s hung himself out to dry with his own self-satisfied stubbornness and smugness and slowness of wit. Have you seen his one-on-one interview about abstinence education?

I really don’t think Perry is slow witted. I worked on an oild refinery project once up in Canada. They thought those “southern rubes” we slow thinking because they were slow talking. LOL, they got handed their backsides.

It’s not the pace of what he says, it is what he says when forced to think on his feet.

It would be easy to dismiss lentulusgracchus as delusional or foolish, but it wouldn't be completely accurate, so I won't do it.

We know, for example, that Mitt Romney is a RINO. Some of us see Rick Perry as mostly a conservative, while lentulusgracchus sees him too as a RINO. Lentulusgracchus seems eternally upset that not everyone agrees with him.

So keeping this in mind, I believe we can best describe lentulusgracchus as a HIPPO
