I do, apparently you don't. Those are his quotes in the article. He was going through a list of positions he felt conservatives would have an issue with Christie over.

"Most of the conservatives believe that we should enforce our borders,” Cain elaborated, “they do not believe people should be here without documentation. They do not believe global warming is a crisis or a threat. Yes it might be a little bit out there, but they don’t see it as a crisis or a threat. And as you go right down the line, he’s going to turn off a lot of conservatives with those positions.”

Cain said we're "out there" to hold that position on global warning and used "they" to distance himself. Sorry you couldn't comprehend what he said but please don't insinuate I can't understand a clearly articulated thought from Mr.Cain that is neither admirable nor conservative.

What part of “IT may be a bit out there” confuses you?

Cain changed from third personal (THEY)to the impersonal (IT). IT refers to global warming , as in ther may be a little bit out there but THEY (whom he has identified with) don’t see it as a crisis or threat.

Did you attend high school and pay attention to English Comprehension or are you used to just going with your emotional gut?
