Let’s put it this way — we defend a candidate when he is right and when he is unfairly accused of something.
However, that should not mean that we defend the candidate under ALL circumstances, not when he is clearly wrong.
I’m not sure Cain is staking out a position on this whole gay military thing or this whole Perry’s ranch N-rhead thing.
I think he was just reacting to the media.
In the case of the ranch thing, he just said it was insensitive, which it is in fact an insensitive name.
In the case of the gay military thing, he basically said, if you watch the whole interview, that people on stage were concentrating on something more important, namely, the debate, and that is the reason no one had a chance to think about whether or not people were booing for the person or the policy.
I’m not sure its really the entire sell-out that some people are making it out to be, honestly.
I do not make a habit of attacking any of the candidates on our side.
Ron Paul may be the exception
