Well said.
First laugh I’ve had today.
I think he was milking the issue. Still, ABO (Anybody But Obamalini).
RE: I think he was milking the issue.
DISAGREE. it was a one time question made by Christianne Amanpour and people made a big deal of it. Get back to me when we hear him attack Perry on this again but not until.
If not it will be others who are milking this issue AGAINST Cain.
I want the borders secure, but Obama won’t do his job. It will take a Republican President to close the borders and step up to the plate. I firmly believe that Perry will. He has asked for boots on the ground, aviation assets and drones, with fence in urban areas. Obama simply refuses. The instate tuition was passed by the Legislature and is a TX matter. I did not have a vote. Right now TX catches them and ICE turns them loose. Perry sent Obama a huge bill for the expense involving the illegals in TX. Doubt it will be paid.
Finally the truth seeps out of the dissembling. You did choose the id, at least in part, ZULU for its tribal history. You appreciate the Zulu custom of never taking prisoners. Perhaps you have forgotten how completely and categorically they were defeated. You might consider a change in id to Mongol or something along those lines if you really want a winner. Of course Blazing Saddles gives you plausible deniability should anyone query your choice.
I’m not sure if your joking or serious.
So that is your excuse for why Rick Perry supported subsidizing people who are in this country illegally?
In other words, because the federal government did not do its job, it excuses the fact that Rick Perry did something against the principles of a nation of laws.
I understand the logic of the excuse, I just don’t think its a good enough excuse. For that reason, I will be supporting another candidate in the Republican primary.
Unfortunately, Rick Perry cannot go back into the past and change what he did. But he could address what he did and apologize for it. But unfortunately, he has not apologized for what he did. He *has* apologized for what he *said* about what he did, but *not* for what he did. On the contrary, he has doubled down on the choice he made. And this is not a conservative thing to do. And implying that everyone who opposes what he did has a problem with “someone who has a vowel at the end of their name” is not only erroneous, but insulting.
Again, the problem with Rick Perry is not the fact that he thinks I don’t have a heart. Quite frankly, I don’t care what Rick Perry thinks about my heart. I’m not running for President. He is running for President. And I am not concerned about my heart.
I am concerned about his heart. I am concerned about the person that voted for political expediency by subsidizing illegal aliens.
