So the first thread of Cain bashing wasn’t enough, huh?

Did you actually WATCH the interview rather than read MSNBC’s write up of it?

Cain was simply asked to the name and he said it to some it is racially insensitive. He gave his opinion and moved on. He did not attack Perry.

You do get that the word “nigger” is racially insensitive to some, don’t you? As a child, Cain grew up having to ride the back of the bus, go to separate schools, use separate restrooms and drink from separate water fountains.

What do you think he should have said? That he is fine with the word “nigger”. Seriously?

People watch for yourself. Cain offered his opinion but didn’t get sucked into bashing Perry like they wanted him to.

The worst you could says is that to a small degree Cain “took the bait” at first, but didn’t go beyond the initial comment.

A nothing burger to anyone intellectually honest about the situation, and I say that as someone who likes both Cain AND Perry.

We are beginning to see the Bachmannization of Mr. Cain by Perry supporters. A race card can only be played when racism exists. If the sign really existed, Mr. Perry has a problem.

Cain should have said he wasn't interested in what people in Texas called a deer lease in the 1980’s. He should have asked why the questioner thought to ask for his reaction. He should have said he wanted to talk about his tax plan, or the European debt crisis, or the Middle East or anything important. He should have asked why the questioner wanted to talk about trivia as our country and the world teeter on the edge of disaster.

There are a lot of things Cain could have said. What he did say was scurrilous and indefensible. He was never a serious contender and he just demonstrated why.

I saw him on fox news, doubling down.

Cheap shot. This may be his ‘heartless’ moment

I am with you.

Herman was ambushed and he responded as any decent person would. I find the term offensive too, along with other ethnic slurs, even though I am one of the most “politically incorrect” people around.

Even though I am all for free speech and artistic expression, I can’t stand a movie where every other word is the “F” Word. Does that make me a Liberal for heavens sake?

I watched the interview. Cain attacked Perry for not acting sooner, but Cain should get his facts straight before he open his mouth.
