Your reaction to what I said is just as ridiculous as the bussing policy was--classic overreaction. You don't fix racism by punishing white children. And you don't equate the experience of a black person who grew up in 1950's American with a white kid who suffered a brief humiliating experience in the 80's. There's simply no comparison.
Oh by the way, that is not an humiliating experience when hundreds of kids led by the authority figures of the school call an assembly to scare the crap out of you.
I told you there are many more similar experiences both I and others in my generation could tell you, but you wouldn't want to listen.
