President Barack Obama sharply rebuked his Republican rivals Saturday, saying anyone who wants to be commander in chief must support the entire U.S. military, including gay service members.
A combative Obama criticized Republican presidential candidates for staying silent when the crowd at a recent debate booed a gay soldier who asked a question of the contenders via videotape.
"You want to be commander in chief? You can start by standing up for the men and women who wear the uniform of the United States, even when it's not politically convenient," Obama said during remarks at the annual dinner of the Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest gay rights organization.
Referencing the boos at the Sept. 22 Republican debate, he said: "We don't believe in standing silent when that happens."
Obama touted his administration's efforts to repeal the military's ban on openly gay service members, as well as his orders to the Justice Department to stop enforcing a law defining marriage as between one man and one woman...

Careful about your reply to my last, and recall what happened to that Leviticus-preaching minister in Alberta who was dragged before a "human rights" tribunal to answer for charges of "hate speech", with both fines and prison in the scales, on a complaint brought by Alberta homosexual activists.
It's the homosexual movement who are the aggressors here, and Barack Obama is their balrog.
If such ministers are dragged before a tribunal, that is insanity in and of itself.
Conservatism has many different forms. Both would unite over some issues and split over others. The emphasis upon personal liberty, the free-market, a balanced budget and small government should be critical, considering that the well-being of everybody in society is contingent upon it.

They make piss poor infantryman. My experience was that most are little fairies that are not efficient soldiers. When they are promoted to leadership position, that is when they really shine as finicky little bitch like decision-makers. They lose credibility and eventually self destruct as overall soldiers.
