If Santorum is the nominee I know I would vote for him and pray that he wins. Cain I'm pretty close to putting in my Romney camp. We will find out who the nominee is and hopefully it will be someone who can win and win BIG.
One thought on the immigration issue. I'm Pro-Life and that is my line that I will not cross. However, I have to work within the political constraints of our country and where the voting blocks are. IOW, I can't get an absolute ban on abortion, but if I can get waiting periods, ultrasounds, restrictions on clinics, parental notification, and licensing requirements I will support candidates that are for them even if they don't support everything I want.
I am never going to convince some that Perry did the right thing on the education issue, but if you see that he's supporting most of what you want he's a heck of a lot better than someone who says he will but has no history of doing anything. In the end we need obama out, Pubs controlling both houses and as Conservative a POTUS as we can get.
Very similar arguments were made about Bush and the damage done from his open borders policy dwarfs any of his good, including the excellent Supreme Court picks.
States all along the Southwest and beyond are finding bankrupt budgets from paying out on all the illegal alien criminals. When they try to do something judges and weasels like Obama fight them every step of the way. That's what compassionate conservatism gets you. I'm convinced Perry would be more of the same.
